Jenna Kaye

Jenna is the Founder and CEO of Corporate Diversity Consultant, a consulting firm that provides corporate governance and compliance services to publicly-listed companies.

Jenna is the Founder and CEO of Odyssey Trust Company, a North American transfer agent and trust company based in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Denver, CO.

Jenna practiced law at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in their Securities and Capital Markets group. She has an MBA/LLB from Dalhousie University.

Heather Culbert

Vice Chair, EDC

Heather is the founder of Women on Boards, a non-profit focused on raising awareness of Board ready women in Alberta and assisting with opportunities for women to serve on Boards.

Heather is a director on multiple Boards and is currently Vice-Chair of Export Development Canada (EDC), Chair of the Alberta Research and Innovation Advisory Council (ARIAC), on the Board of Whitecap Resources and Chair of United Way World Leadership Council.

From 1996 to 2006 Ms. Culbert was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Services with Enerplus Resources Corporation.

Dr. Sandip Lalli

CEO, Calgary Chamber

With a global career that has taken Dr. Sandip Lalli from Alberta to Singapore and many other countries along the way, Sandip solidified her home in Calgary when she started as the President and Chief Executive Officer at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce in April 2018.

Prior to taking on this role, various international corporations entrusted her with strategic planning and execution of their most important initiatives. Known for her communication skills and visionary leadership, she has repeatedly been called upon to identify opportunities for growth and assess business risk.

Since starting with the Calgary Chamber, Sandip has led the launch of a new purpose for the Chamber – to build a business community that nourishes, powers, and inspires the world. Sandip is a staunch advocate for the business of business and is leading the development of a united voice for business.

Sandip holds an Institute of Corporate Directors, ICD.D, a Doctorate in Business Administration degree, a Master Business Administration degree and is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant.

Katie Smith

Katie is the Executive Director at Young Women in Energy (YWE), a non-profit organization working to increase the presence and voice of women in Alberta’s energy industry.

Katie works in Proposals for Process Systems and Solutions at Spartan Controls.

She has the distinction of being one of the first SHE Innovators profiled in Alberta. SHEInnovates is a not for profit profiling women in our province who are demonstrating role models, creating connections, and showcasing the innovative work women are doing in our province. ‍

Marnie Smith

Marnie is the Co-Chair of Women in Capital Markets, a not for profit organization that aspires to support women working in and with Calgary's financial services industry to reach their potential, advance in their careers, and to inspire our industry to build diverse and talented teams.

Marnie is a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry in Calgary with an exclusive focus on executive level and board recruitment across the financial and industrial sectors.

She joined the firm from Macquarie Group, where she spent almost 15 years in investment banking, most recently as Managing Director & Head of Canadian Energy.

Jennifer Pierce

SVP, HR, TC Energy

Jennifer joined TC Energy to lead Human Resources in April 2019. Previously, Jennifer was an executive with a leading Canadian power generator and marketer where she led various commercial, marketing, trading, business development, investor relations and communications activities. Jennifer also spent her early career in the United States working for Duke Energy, Williams Corporation and the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America.

Jennifer grew up in Calgary and remains active in the community. She is chair of the Mount Royal University School of Business and Communication Studies Dean’s Advisory Counsel.
